Most of our neighbours seem to have been notified that the power will be off from 9-5 today. Our house didn't get anything, but I'm anticipating the lights going out in a couple of hours - which makes pretending to work from home even harder...

My 2025 increased, but not horrifically so. I see that happening in 2026 after repubs have repealed anything that looks like useful levels of affordable healthcare and the companies all triple their prices.
