Induction is a game changer. I'd like to have one with air fryer. We tried to get a nice GE during pandemic. But after waiting 3 months, we bailed and got the Ikea for cheap. Already got it repaired under warranty, main board and control board. That thing will not last 20 years.yes. came with the house, so bargain basement model from the flip. this was a good sale, and when i put it in the cart there was a bonus 10% off.
We got lucky and found a Cafe(GE) that was at a local warehouse. One thing I wanted was physical knobs as opposed to strictly a touch-panel. Knock on wood, but has been trouble-free for 4 years now.Induction is a game changer. I'd like to have one with air fryer. We tried to get a nice GE during pandemic. there exists a pricey one with a battery acting as a bufferI would like to do an induction on the off grid house but the amperage load is too high for solar/battery sustainability especially when using the oven or during the winter months. Going to stick with LPG for now.
we shopped on price & features. eventually we plan on remodeling our kitchen, when the time comes i want an in-wall double oven, and a separate range. We got lucky and found a Cafe(GE) that was at a local warehouse. we've got that setup and approve of the layout. never running out of room is awesome.we shopped on price & features. eventually we plan on remodeling our kitchen, when the time comes i want an in-wall double oven, and a separate range.
yea, we went with a less expensive model for now, knowing that the kitchen will eventually be redone, but we wanted something good enough that will last, because the kitchen remodel is gonna be another 5+ years out most likely.we've got that setup and approve of the layout. never running out of room is awesome.
in wall double oven, both full size. top one does convection
induction cooktop with real range hood
Holy sheet, thats a spendy "battery" for its size, 6-7 grand is a bit steep. I realize there is a stove/oven component in there but to give context, my house will be running three of these bad mamajammas https://signaturesolar.com/eg4-powerpro-14kwh-all-weather-lithium-solar-battery-wallmount/there exists a pricey one with a battery acting as a buffer
Induction stoves with batteries built in, and why they matter
What's the big deal about an induction stove with a battery built in? That's a new product that's set to hit the market next year. I talk about it with one of the entrepreneurs behind it and a scientist at the Department of Energy who helped secur it funding.www.volts.wtf
ok looks like two, not even just the one
I wish we hadn't gone with the front panel controls, even with the little detent at the off position, they still get bumped on sometimes....We got lucky and found a Cafe(GE) that was at a local warehouse. ours are horizontal and the fucking cat walks across them and messes stuff up if we don't put them in "lock" mode...wish ours were vertical!I wish we hadn't gone with the front panel controls, even with the little detent at the off position, they still get bumped on sometimes....

All Jennair stuff in our house when we bought it, only a couple of years old at that point. But I wouldn't buy it again. Fridge and stove top are both full of issues.have not had good ge experience with our non-induction range. front right burner wiring shorted. ge repairman stated they simply did not make the correct wiring harness. said he could get us a new stove via warranty even though it had just expired. but when i tried to work with customer service/corporate i got nowhere. also the under over baking sheet drawer is fucked up and will not got back in, despite getting new rails. fuck ge.
Dotsero, you say?
It's definitely no Burlington. It's no Limon.
