Sorry 'bout the pooch. my mom had to have one of hers put down last week. he was a rescue that actually found her. so she was very attached. not easy.

as for me, I think it might be too hot to ride tonight:

I've already ridden once in these conditions this week, and I'm not sure it's worth doing it again.

Damn, dude, so sorry. It’s the hardest thing. Even harder than a lot of people, parents, siblings…because their love is unconditional, and 100% uncritical, judgemental, etc.
She looks like she was a good’un.

watching the parents dog while they are out of town wishing my grandmother her 101st birthday.

I am clearly the third favorite.

Here. Busy. I got the video for Haley's next tv appearance - it's awesome. It hasn't been aired yet so I can't post it. Soon. We leave this afternoon to Grand Junction to race.

Now I need to find one of them dogs that never dies, because this putting your dog to sleep shit is too damn painful.
If only that was a possibility. We had to put down our Yorkie a few months ago and I still can't think of her without tearing up.

Of course, we also have 10 & 12 year old dogs too, so I'll be going through it all over again x2 soon enough.

You get a dog and never think about one day you will have to let them go :cray:

Seems like just yesterday we took ours on a road trip around the country. They hiked up all the mountains and swam in all the rivers, oceans, and lakes.

But that was 5/6 years ago, when they were much younger. It's a hard realization when I watch them struggle to climb stairs now. It really is unfair.

A good coworker of mine couldn't deal anymore and decided to retire early. Just spent his last 30 minutes in the office roasting the shit out of him. He was turning blue from laughing too hard. Good times.

Wow, pretty shit ride last night. Bike was creaking knocking something fierce, ending up bailing. Dammit, it's always something.

Today was long as heck. Head has been pounding since I left the house.

Abd I had to work in the city.

After work I had to drop off the bike bag I borrowed last summer. But I wasn't paying attention to the address I punched into GPS. A town 30 minutes away from where I had to go, has the same address. Fuck.

Currently waiting for tacos. I'm taking them to my buddies house. He's 78 and on oxygen and frail as hell. He has a tenacious spirit though and wants me to help him do a pile of organic consulting in his neighbors pears. He wants a pile of money to move to CA with so he can be near his kids/grandkids.

I'm going to try and suggest he sell all his shit he has piled up and his vehicles to raise his travel egg. It's not what he wants to hear but it's what he needs to do to prepare his next trip, on earth or in the next...

man that just made my eyes tear up. My buddy Watson is 13 and he is slowing up. I'm not looking forward to saying goodbye. I'm hoping he as a few good years left to enjoy.
