I had a 12 and a 10 two years ago. For the price, they sure were underwhelming. I have to assume they are more reasonably priced in your part of the world.

Rochefort 10 is far better that Westvleteren XII - imho
rochefort is indeed good stuff. i miss belgium.
I pick those up occasionally. Pretty good and not nearly as expensive.
That seems reasonable.
one of my motives to get back into brewing is that i reallllllllllly like belgian ales, my wallet however, does not.
I was shocked at how expensive Belgian beers were in the US - they cost a 2-3$ a bottle here.
I may have to stock up for my move to CO
when you consider import fees, taxes, etc, it makes sense. i too was surprised at the difference in pricing when in belgium.
Just in from a 15 mile road ride in 95 degree heat, I averaged just under 15 MPH so I am happy. Going to go for 6 rides this week, time is tight so they'll all be 60 to 90 minutes until Saturday.
Two and a half hours of sweating like a human irrigation system wearing a pepper sprayed chamois. I are cooked.
Only 1 1/2 hour of riding here but similar experience. It's still over 80F out there, 80% humidity.
Toasty there this week too
