Finally started hitting this step down. Makes the rest of the section much better with the speed you gain.

After this a berm, jump over a stump and jump over a bridge.

Up with the sun and out to the trails. Yesterday and today felt really good on the bike, I think I'm getting my groove back.

Methinks I'll lay here in the bed of my truck a little longer.

The wind is still howling. The Corral Fire just east of me jumped from 5000 acres last night to 12000 acres this morning. it has shut down a big stretch of I580 near Tracy. And to add to the fun we just got a high heat warning it's going to be in the 100's for the next few days. I'm going to be looking forward to spending 3 days on the Mendocino coast starting Thursday night

yard work today oh joy

Finally found the last of the leaks in the sprinkler system, an old repair had come loose. All zones have good pressure now so we can start reseeding the yard and putting in flagstone walkways and such. But first, a ride because I’m also finally feeling like a human being.

Morning. Been up since 5am to get the oldest to her school trip and get everyone loaded up. I can't believe it's June. May seemed to take forever but now the calendar can slow down a little. Graduation is 24 days away!

Race day. Been having trouble with power all weekend. Fixed the gearing eod yesterday and she was back in with the other kids, but still not there. We pulled the motor and the team fully serviced it overnight. Kart died in warmup today - the battery charger died. It's been misfiring for half of the day...

I need a new lawnmower. Not sure I want to pay retail, but boy is it difficult finding something decent without spending a fortune. Champagne taste beer budget I guess.

 ‘morning. Very sore from driving a tiny race car yesterday. Time to put the remaining items from the track car up for sale this afternoon. Other than that, I got nothing’.

Rain, meh....

Changed guitar strings last night, coastal humidity wreaks havoc on phosphor bronze strings

When I had grass in central Oregon I used the iMow from Stihl, completely autonomous and made the grass look like a golf course. had its own docking station and mowed on its own schedule at a random pattern to not leave any lines. Not cheap, but was nice to not have to physically mow and looked better than what I could do

Mowermonkey.com - discovered that one of the motor-to-deck mounting points on my old pushmower has rusted away. Since I am cheap and lazy, my dilemma is do I buy a cheap replacement, weld a patch piece on the deck or run it as is until it breaks loose and chops my feet off…? :homer:
