What it is gentlemonkeys?

Fire has continued to ravage the foothills nearby. I have to go to work for a few hours, then catch up on my monthly desk work.

I rode a bicycle last night and it was fan-fucking-tastic. I might try to do more of that in the near future.

Found a foam knee pad and used it for a tailgate pad with my new truck. Works well enough!

@gonefirefightin I'll be fabbing up a rollable wire spool cart this weekend, hopefully. That cutter and welder sure is handy!

Mt Baker is a fry cry from anything on the eastern US
And Colorado

Flying into Denver earlier this year I was looking out the window and saw foothills and was excited to see the Rockies, then we landed.

By SS definition the East Coast would have mountains if you plopped it on top of a field at 6000'

You're not wrong. Most of the Colorado Rockies are marginally interesting piles of rubble.

Makes me wish I got a pic today the sign on the last lift pole at Mountain Creek announcing the top of Vernon peak at a diabolical 1,140ft. Fuckin' breathtaking.
