I have discovered that I may be a bit old to be moving refrigerators by myself. But I'm right in the middle of the age range of the younger golden girls. They are the age range of women I find attractive in that show. Early 50s.
Mrs. Scrub always wondered why I did grocery shopping mid-day.

MILFs, man. MILFs.

She finally figured it out one day when she went with. Dude. You're full on checking out the teeny bopper girls!

I corrected her. No, babe. I'm checking out their moms...

My local Whole Foods is particularly...uh...nice.

Rough travel/wirk week had me dragging at the start of today’s ride. Leaden legs and pulse through the roof in the first half mile had me a little worried.

Glad I “toughed it out” bc riding bikes in the woods is fun!

Cleaned the drivetrains (and everything else) on a couple bikes this afternoon. Didn’t ride though due to other nonsense. When I do, my system is going to go into shock.

At the beginning of my 2nd descent my rear locked up and then rolled free and when I pulled over I realized one of my rear pads had been ejected from the caliper. Big descent with just a front brake. Woohoo!

Drove the 2 hours home from up north earlier. Had to water the garden. My 150 gallons of rain barrels are pretty much empty.

I'd like it to rain BUT, we have shuttles scheduled for next Sunday at a spot that is all clay. If it's wet, it's pretty much unrideable. @mykel knows the clay I'm talking about, near Collingwood.

Anyways, I'm watering the garden and pulled out the hose. And of course just sliced my palm open on a hose clamp from a repair I did.

Insert meme sound below. And let's find another beer.

Morning. Watching some Olympic coverage with coffee instead of sitting on the deck with a book today. Last SpongeBob show is today then we break the set down.
Met up with some Monkeys for a fun ride at PineHill Park yesterday. The kids crushed it (two 12 year olds and one of them is crazy fast!). Might sign up to make a fool of myself with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra at their Brass Play In this week (I am a woodwind specialist but I have a couple of students that want and should do it so I might have to practice trumpet a bit this week).
Rode Boston Lot today.

Wifey is watching equestrian cross-country currently and somebody just ate shit because the horse slammed on the brakes.

Hannah: "That probably hurt. Why did the horse just stop? Isn't it supposed to do what they tell them to?"
Wifey: "Well, horses sometimes don't want to do what they are told to do, so they will stop or change direction."
Haley: "I'm really glad my kart doesn't do that. It goes where I point it." [walks away]
Me:   [puts head back down into laptop]

And somebody just went down with their horse and it absolutely crushed him. He didn't get up before they changed the screen.

One of my local premium wheel builders does great reviews of hubs that they choose to support. I know a lot of you use DT Swiss hubs, and they recently put out their new DEG models with larger ratchets. They did a great video on it, which also talks a lot about the older hubs. Thought you’d enjoy it. There’s quite a few of these type of videos on their site if you pole about too.

well if this offer goes through I can pull a permit directly from the city planner, have the lot graded, roads put in, water, sewer, and power stubbed in and footings dug in the same week as closing.

Even with slapping together a 3 bed 2 bath and a metal shop I can move in within 4-6 weeks and not have to pay stupid rent prices for a shithole, pay for storage and actually have some space to park my things.
