Son finally got some game time on the soccer team and returned the trust with a really good goal! I managed to fix the bike squeaking so two big wins today and I should not expect more. Will cook some food and hit the gym then even Ice Cube would agree it was a good day.

Hi

May have founder a buyer for the spooky, which is great because I haven’t ridden it nor successfully parted it out yet. Right on time, I’m having second thoughts. My crux that I bought as an AR bike rides like a truck, and I finally found a good deal on the fork I need to be able to run 30s front and rear on that frame. I unfortunately already sold my wheels, but it shouldn’t be impossible to rebuild it as a lighter/smaller/faster AR bike and sell the crux as a gravel bike. A winter project would also keep my mind off the downfall of our government, which is nice.

I need to replace the friction disc on my snowblower. Thing can no longer climb my driveway without me pushing it. :disgust1:

I'll test the groin on the fatbike later.

Race day #1.

She's struggling with going full-speed on the first lap after the out lap when it's cold still. Qualifying is early, so she's going to have to figure it out. She bent an axle and hubs, so I replaced the axle last night and will be doing the hubs this morning.

The goal today is to be 5 up from the bottom and beat our teammate. It sounds low, but this is a super fast and competitive group.

Quiet morning in Providence Rhode Island. Cute old little downtown.

I'd rather be home, but just the fact that I don't have to listen to a PPT presentation today brings an incredible peaceful feeling of well-being. My job must really suck...

Coffee right meow, maybe frolic in the slow later. Swapped a binding on the Hoks yesterday, but we don't seem to get enough snow to take them out. Damn you global warming!

Newport is worth the trip, if you haven't been there before.

Dang you are well traveled
The sad part is that it’s wasted on me. For one reason or another I’ve been a heavy traveler since undergrad (early 90s). These days I am so ambivalent to travel that it’s a little disappointing. Like wasted opportunities type disappointing.

Every now and then I get ambitious and do something cool, but mostly I just look forward to getting back to my hideaway in the sticks…

French Press all the humphs and fetch me your stickiest, sweet, happy couples so I can get into their wallets. Got a few months of trail life to fund.
Speaking of, the wife has lost a ton of weight on her crazy diet and now her original ring is almost too big.

I won't make you do a third, but I thought it was funny.
