That was me speaking last year, before getting hit with H1N1. It was literally 4 days spent in bed. The shivering was so intense that I could not carry more than a half glass of water.
i have shivered that hard....but it was a fall concert at red rocks with a full moon seeing rem/wilco....i thought shorts and a windbreaker would be enough....did not account for breeze....my whole body was sore the next two days from shivering...

dayum I am at 14,415 consecutive days without a drink of alcohol. and yes I am fucking boring.
I once went a few days in a row without the consumption of alcohol. I'd say that abstinence is overrated. YMMV.
