On the way back from hiking Monday night I saw a snake on the road. Thought it might be a Rattlesnake so I turned around to go back. It was only a Copperhead which are very common in the area. As I drove next to it slowly it made several attempts to bite my car. Angry little fucker.

Ate tacos for dinner then took the dogs out for a 90 minute hike. I am about to sack out in my hammock and sleeping bag under the redwoods. Gonna spend tomorrow installing new front shocks and doing an oil change on the truck and working on the camper. We have a 4000 mile trip coming up in ,four weeks. SF to Lexington KY and back

How tall are your ceilings?

The only ceiling will be that which covers the underside of the rafters. Joists will remain bare and are their undersides are perhaps 12' above the floor.
