Morning Monkies! Its above zero right now and coild get as high a 16 degrees. If not too windy that means a snow ride this afternoon. Off to the gym.
2*F and snow.
Rewarding?First time using the snow plough to clear the roads in my neighborhood. Far more rewarding than my day job but the pay is $0pm. I don't think that's going to be fiscally viable as a long term career.
how dare you take the joy out of a cdot plow drivers day in plowing in neighborhood driveways!!!!First time using the snow plough to clear the roads in my neighborhood. Far more rewarding than my day job but the pay is $0pm. I don't think that's going to be fiscally viable as a long term career.
Please, come visit. I have a driveway and sidewalk that could use your attention.I LOVE shoveling snow. I don't know why. It's hard work and exhausting. But I love it.
Even if your drive way looks like this 3 times a day? (courtesy of city snow plow)I LOVE shoveling snow. I don't know why. It's hard work and exhausting. But I love it.

For some reason that didn't work until I clicked on the photo link. That's your driveway? Brutal. I'd have resorted to multi-stage gasoline powered goodness long ago with that.Even if your drive way looks like this 3 times a day? (courtesy of city snow plow)
Fvcking google - won't show pictures referenced from pages until I migrate old galleries to G+.For some reason that didn't work until I clicked on the photo link. That's your driveway? Brutal. I'd have resorted to multi-stage gasoline powered goodness long ago with that.
Solution: live in a place where there's plenty of space to put the fucking snow.Even if your drive way looks like this 3 times a day? (courtesy of city snow plow)
Reminds me of our crappy rental on Long Island. It was right on a major road so we'd get plowed in similarly.Fvcking google - won't show pictures referenced from pages until I migrate old galleries to G+.
Yep, my driveway two years ago. Shoveling snow is mostly OK. Shoveling ice blocks with snow that plows dumped to your driveway is hell. I got a snowblower since.
What about your lunch? Still sitting on the counter?Morning Monkeys.
Jeebus, disaster of a morning. Forgot to set the coffee, then the truck wouldn't start (too cold, had to boost it), missed the bus, had to get gas to drive in, realized at the gas station I had left my badge in my other jacket pocket, double back to the house, and STILL made it in the office by 7. Got an ok parking spot, too. But seriously, its damn cold outside. Where is this global warming I keep hearing about?
<edit> It's 20 degrees of freedom outside!!! WTF.
You sir, need to invest in a blower.Even if your drive way looks like this 3 times a day? (courtesy of city snow plow)
The beautiful people approve.I need to think of an appropriate way to celebrate Marilyn Manson's birthday.

Hey, you. What do you say?The beautiful people approve.
That's pretty much it... my dad was stereo phonic hifi nerd in the late 60s and 70s so I got to listen to all kinds of music on big ass speakers that could shake a house, Cream and Traffic were always my favorites but there was also Black Sabath and Led Zeppelin. And Eric Burdon and WAR...Meant to ask sooner......what's the significance of the Ginger Baker avatar? Other than the fact he's a badass.
0 results found for bicycle pogies, so we searched for bicycle ponies
Good tip - I should just drop by the snowmobile shop and see what they have in stock, the one I've been looking at are 45 to $130. Too pricey for what they are.@Serial Midget
If you are looking for pogies and not a pony for $10 these are working out great for wife and I.

I used sections of an old foam roller to make spacers like these:
