Oh dang. Just found this on the interwebs... picture from our July 4th ride of me hike-a-biking my Felicia up to 13,215' above Jones Pass.

That's practically paved. I'd hit that on my XC bike.Epic day. I now have a new all time favourite trail and unfortunately, everything back home is now going to feel like a cruise on a golf course. I'm blown away by this trail.
Little sampling...

HECK YES! One of the easier rock sections.

I see your XC bike is much like mine... with 6" of travel.I was on my XC bike...
I didn't take pictures of the other sections, because well, I'd either risk losing my bike or myself down into the rapids or into a ravine. The trail was on par with Bromont rox in sections.
Much less than 6"I see your XC bike is much like mine... with 6" of travel.![]()

Where?
So I'm buying a camper and tangled up in making that real...
Are you familiar with Vermont riding? Can you compare? I've been wondering if VBdN is worthy of a long weekend road trip instead of Vermont...http://www.valleebrasdunord.com/velo-de-montagne.php
I'm staying here: http://www.roquemont.com/en/
The Saint-Raymond trail area is literally at the hotel here.
The Shannahan area (where I rode today) is about a 30 minute drive into the hills.
If you download the app called Ondago, there are trail maps you can make offline (there is absolutely zero cell service out there).
I'd say its worth the trip if you are in the area. Mont Saint Anne isn't far. I am definitely bringing friends here.
Not sure, I have yet to ride Vermont. Are you familiar with Vermont riding? Can you compare? I've been wondering if VBdN is worthy of a long weekend road trip instead of Vermont...
Naw, nothing to ride here. Not sure, I have yet to ride Vermont.
I'd say it's worth a go one day.
