a question to all boxxer riders/knowers since 2002
i've ridden my 2002 boxxer WC (the one with the golden(TiNi) stanchions)
a whole 4 years now-just changed oil from time 2 time
now it's time to switch (...to whiskey, we've been drinkin beer all night :blah: ) ...to a new 2006 boxxer which now has completely been renewed in all of it's parts since the 2002 model.
my question is if i can use the golden 2002 stanchions in the new 2006 team?
thx in advance

My question- how do you own a fork for 3-4 years and not have messed up stanchions :P

they arent longer, as long as its a straight wall (should be) you could always give it a shot, it only depends on the wall thickness.

youll have to keep the top caps too.

my guess is that it will work but i wouldnt bet on it.

but, hmmm, matte black lowers and flashy gold stanchions?

it is winter and you sit @ home looking at your bike thinking
sometimes this results in really bad ideas
this time i don't know :nopity:

if i have to use the old top caps i can forget it because i have use the MoCon cap on the right stanchion... :dead:
