got one of the new boxxers here, ill take it apart and post and "autopsy" later on.

for now here is what ive found by mostly looking at it


weight:
this one was 3215g (7.09lbs)dead stock and straight out of the box.

I am doing some research for a new fork purchase and came back to this thread. I have two questions.

Vitox,

The 3215g figure includes the axle, top crown and oil, correct?

The measured weight is of a production 05 Team, corrrect?

I was just checking out Rock Shox's site and they list the Team target weight at 3379 grams, I am suprised to see the fork actually weighing in so much less. Pleasently suprised.
