I got this fork used for a good deal or so I thought, it is an 07 Manitou Minute 120 mm. I have been testing the psi out on the fork and have been trying to set up the sag. There seems to be a problem. When I inflate the fork to 180 psi (max recommended psi) I am getting 35mm of sag (top of seal to bottom of zip tie) without even touching the bike! When I get on the bike and compress the fork the sag drops to 50mm!!! Next I drained the air from the fork completely and filled it to 90 psi - the sag with out touching the bike is ~50mm, and after compressing the fork it remains at 50mm. I repeated this step about 3 or 4 times with the same results. The problem seems pretty consistent. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am trying to contact the previous owner to see if he had spacers removed or something. Any advise would be great. Thanks.
