This may be old news but I just saw the specs. Everyone is bitchen about the price of a demo, but looking at the spec's, I just can't see how the demo II is $2,100 more than the demo I. What is that much better to make it that much more?

$6,300 or $4,200? Buy the cheaper one, upgrade, and still be better off. Maybe that's why give the cheaper one the uglier paint job.

$6200 and you still get cro-mo rails and an X.9 shifter...

edit: but you do get a cool 2 1/8" headset. good for them leapfrogging over that pvssy little 1.5 standard thing.

The Demo 8 is a waste, it's only got the 2 1/8" headset, the Demo 8 II has the industry standard 5 1/8" headset for those uber hucks to uphill transitions.
