my friend has an 09 boxxer world cup and has recently serviced it himself (following the guide on the sram website) he didn't change any seals in the cartridge due not needing any, he put fresh oil in (150ml 5wt)
he came to me and said the compression adjusters don't do anything, i took apart the cartridge and re put oil inside (150ml 5wt) and had the same problem, everything looked ok on the cartrdige (i don't know how to actually open it up, maybe udi or someone can help) the compression adjuster moved the piston at the bottom between open/closed etc
i put more oil in then suggested and the adjusters worked again, however bizarrely, moving the floodgate around 1-2 clicks and the compression and the forks locks out alot, which im sure isn't normal, i asked my friend and he said he doesnt remember as he's never played with them
im sure its not normal even though ive never really ridden with boxxers but it seems to very limited setup wise so i'm sure its not right
i hope some people understand what im saying and can help me with a fix!
