So I know I heard this somewhere but have no idea how true (or if at all) it actually is. And yes, my google is broken.

Does 1" of fork length (not travel, but actual axle-crown length) equal 1 degree of head angle adjustment? I am not so good with the 'ol protractor and I have no angle mcfinder.

No guesses allowed please, thanks!

I think there are too many factors to make a definitive claim about how many distance when added to total axle-to-crown length would actually adjust a headtube 1 degree.

I'm no engineer, but it seems like frame size and design would play a large role in this.

It is generally pretty close, but HA and length of the bike make a difference. There is no universal easy way of figuring out how HA is effected by A2C other then using some math/geometry. But it works as a rule of thumb generally.
