The main venue is in Arcata's Redwood Park, right next to Humboldt State U. The 7.75-mile course is under the giant redwoods of the adjacent Arcata Communty Forest. The course is a variation of last year's layout, but with 5 (count 'em!) new sections of singletrack. It still has just over 1000' of climbing per lap.
Enter the "Team Up With Tinker" raffle and maybe get to race on a 2-rider team with Tinker! Tickets are $2, the money goes to the Arcata Forest Fund's effor to add 177 acres to the Community Forest. Winner also gets a full riding outfit from Cannondale and 2 nights at the Mad River Quality Inn.
