Need help on Need help on removing Progressive 5th Element shock from 2005Iron Horse Sunday. I need to take the Progressive shock out to replace the shock spring.
I found some information in The Official Iron Horse Sunday /DW-Link Tech. and Tuning Section within this site, but the information are for the 2007 and 2008 Sunday. So, can I use the same procedure for the 2007 and 2008 for my 2005 Sunday? Your comments are very much appreciated.

Don't see why the proceedures would differ greatly from the 07/08's but then again, I don't own a sunday.

Try comparing pics of the 07/08's to your 05. If they're similar or exact, you should be golden. Good luck and welcome to Ridemonkey!

I have nothing to add except yes, the 07+ frames are indeed very different, they feature the new F7 linkage kit with 10mm hardware. It's a complete revamp in terms of shock mounting, and therefore those instructions will not apply.

Look elsewhere for 05 instructions.
