Throwing this out to the world wide internets as the Iron Horse website appears to be next to useless for actual information;

I've got a 30.0 seatpost that seems to fit my 05 7point but have a sneaking suspicion that it's supposed to run a 30.9. I'm shimming it down to run a Macneil seat/post combo and want to make sure I get the right sized shim, can anyone out there help me out?

FYI- You can get the macneil post in 30.9

2005 7Point uses a 30.0 Seatpost - most, if not all, Iron Horses do.

I've already got the Macneil combo coming out of a BMX so won't be buying a new one just to fit it. Cheers for the help Acadian.

Yeah...I was confused and wrongheaded from ****ing around with a pile of shims and busted-old posts, so sue me.

I actually went back down to the bike and was all "Farkin Acadian, 30.0 post, what does he know, how the hell did my 30.8 post fit in it if it's 30.0? Hey? Oh...that was the 30.0...that fit in it...I'm a d1ckhead"
