May as well start to look at the pros bikes at the Aussie Nat series as well as the various winter series south of the equator and then Sea Otter. I was told that for 2009 the production forks will be "completely different".
The SRAM guys wouldn't expand on it any further, but apparently some stuff was supposed to be ready before winter of this year for their big guns to get riding on in preparation for the next season.
The changes to 08 stuff, particularly the casting, looks to be some simple, yet effective changes to help the fork out in the areas it needed some help it. A stiffer, almost as light boxxer wc would be a great thing.
