Yeah, helps with the chainslap, eventually the chainslap will wear through the housing so its just there to protect it.

I know the I9 website has weight, I do not though.

no i dented it. fell off about a 8 foot high wooden bridge at plattekill and horseshoed the frame around a tree.

It's just that Iron Horse has been found bondoing factory dented frames. No hidden meaning or something...
