I have an RCS Ti spring on my 450, and while I didn't weigh it, it didnt feel substantially lighter than the steel one it replaced. I continue to blame @Udi for hording all the actual light Ti springs. What's your take on RCS Ti springs? Did you save much weight? Are they worth the money?
I wish! Haven't been over there yet. This is the bottom of Bennett. Foot-shuttled™ the lower section three times, this was my first day on the bike, had to shake it down before the Windrock race back in Feb.Top of Raspberry ?
if you don't rattle it to pieces running at speed on lower bennett (technically coontree, right?) it'll stay together through about anything.I wish! Haven't been over there yet. Holy shit that's nice. I can't see why you'd want to trade...I pre ordered a YT tues carbon comp. But then found out, Their shipping dates are a month longer than the website shows...
i have a pretty dialed 14' carbon wilson. Am i crazy to be trying to sell it,to fund the yt? Am i really gaining anything? I do think the geo and leverage ratio looks really good on the tues. And 27.5 and all..
New black brake lines on the hopes.

Thanks! Ya your probably right.. the Wilson is pretty sweet. I rode a kona supreme operator frame before this wilson and i do miss how poppy and responsive the kona was. From all the reviews on the Yt, it looks like it's a good mix of responsive and plow able. I would imagine it rides basically like a demo, and i do like the way a demo feels.Holy shit that's nice. I can't see why you'd want to trade...
Park legend!Park bike with prototype park features promoting playfulness and practicality at the bike park, 26" park wheels, 2016 park geo and 9spd park cassette that has 2 additional low gears for traversing to other park features such as the bar. Too much fun!
was that bike staying next to me in whistlepunk at SS this weekend?Park bike with prototype park features promoting playfulness and practicality at the bike park, 26" park wheels, 2016 park geo and 9spd park cassette that has 2 additional low gears for traversing to other park features such as the bar. I was at Snow Summit in CA for opening day this Friday but I don't think that's the "SS" you're referring towas that bike staying next to me in whistlepunk at SS this weekend?
Sort of. I took it back to my local bike shop and used some of their dental picks. We managed to get them all in. Only one cap was really tight, so that particular one might be fubar'd.@canadmos did you get the issue with the threads for the bearing caps resolved?
Despite the "Erlkönig" paintjob I am spotting a new linkage like the one ridden by Brendog.I got my new bike dirty last weekend in Morgins. Full SX ruts everywhere and hot damn was it fun!
Mine's on the right. It's sitting around 14.8 to 15.2 kilos depending on the back wheel setup which is pretty light for a Gambler.
Nice rig,Well, i canceled the Yt i had on pre-order when a buddy put this S works demo up for sell. Got this complete build with a nice new Vivid r2c air shock as well, for cheaper than the yt. I rode it hard yesterday, had blast. The suspension is so good.. the shock and the fork both.. i made few adjustments here and there and i didn't even have to think about them. Geo just feels perfect for me, i was comfortable and riding fast, within minutes really. Gonna put my red hope v4 brakes on to finish it off. I think the Yt would have been REALLY good too, but i couldn't pass up this deal. Plus the buddy needed to sell it. Win/win

Not that extra light weight weenie stuff. Still, impressive. My trailbike is around 14 kg I think.I keep forgetting to put mine on!
Front wheel is a DT 240 hub on en ex471 rim with a SG casing Magic Mary. Normally no issues but I did flat the front on my first run.
Rear wheel is a Hope Pro 2 hub on an ex471 or 570 rim depending on how rough the trail and how hard the g-outs. In the bike parks I sometimes have to run a heavier rear wheel and tire.
Its way Moar better! Its the best bike I ever ridden, Hands down!! ;/Nice rig,
How do you compare it to the devinci? pros/cons?
