but about the XT brake levers...they suck, tried them the other day and they felt spongy all the time, bleeded them twice and still spongy feel, crashed with them in the woods and cracked it open, and there is a retarded spring between at the fluid side of the piston...really bad design in my opinion.

i thought so too. why i went with the xtr ones.

off topic:yeah and you're the old guy who has been in this forum since 2005, oh amazing 2 years, and who can also judge a new design of brake levers analysing the amount of wins a completely different lever has had in past years and not even trying them. I tried them, didn't like them, that's my opinion and why did you edit your post?
