What size of .243 frame would fit me best (top tube=21.5", 22.5", or 23.5")? I'm not sure if that's actual or effective; it's what's the .243 Racing site. I'm 5'10", and I would use it for dirt jumping and maybe a little freeriding.

the measurements from 243 are actual. you'll fit well on the medium. i'm 6' riding a medium for dj/dh and it's a tad on the small side, i'd like to try a large and see how it fits me.

Im 5'11 and ride the medium. Its an amazing frame, youll love it.

I agree, go for a medium.

I am 6' and ride a large, if anything its a little on hte big side but overall I am happy, if I were any shorter I would want a medium.

Alright, thanks for the advice. It would actually be a trade (my DH frame for a complete .243), so I'll have to make sure he has a medium.
