wow, dude the DH is just a beefier version. I don't have one. But, everyone on here with a .243 loves them, so I think the DH version would be just as lovely. I think the main difference is the beefed up headtube. I wonder how many times you could fit "beef" into a sentence?

I have an older .243. It's the middle version. Not as burly as the DH but still handles a DC fork. The.243 is AWSOME! Quite possibly the best hard tail I have ever ridden (Though I don't have experience with as many HT's I would like to).

Handles like a dream, very comfortable to ride, and will handle anything you throw at it. Buy it. You won't regret it. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Downhilling on a HT is an art unto itself. You need to be very smooth and pick your lines well. And run a beefy tire in the rear.
