26 West Mountain Bike Park is open and gearing up for an eventful Fall riding season, officially kicked off by the park’s Grand Opening, next Saturday August 23.

The park’s Grand Opening will officially introduce the park to Western North Carolina and the entire Southeast. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 am in Breakaway Village and as usual, the park is open until 6pm.

In addition, demo bikes will be available from Rocky Mountain, Kona, Specialized and Morewood. Industry Nine will have bikes available for wheelset demos and Suspension Experts will be set to tune bikes for the park.

Just went this past weekend and conditions were perfect. We will be there Sat for sure. This guy knows how to build/ride trails so everybody needs to showup and support the only local downhill/park.
I'll definately take advantage of the suspension folks at hand on Sat. Dial everything in a little tighter. See everyone there.

Looks like the weather is going to be perfect. At the beginning of the week it looked like rain. I think the Hurricane made a left turn and made the weather outlook very positive.
