It depends on the frame but it would most likely feel weird. The BB would be too low, the head angle too steep and the chainstays too long with none of the 29" wheel benefits.

The BB would be the big one. The tire would drop it 1 ½" and then a shorter fork would drop it even more.

Say a 3" change in the front* which is ~3°. Since 29ers have steep angles to begin with that would put it in the 74° range.:shocked:




*1½" for the tire and another 1½" for the change of fork.
