Well heres my problem.I bought the international standard mount from Manitou like the hope fitment guide sayed, but it doesn't fit over the disc right.It is to high on the disc and only the bottom couple of mm's touches this disc.So do I need another adaptor??or what?? Does anyone else have this setup??I'm at my wits end.Thanks in advance,Nik.

What size rotor are you running? Sounds like you have a 185mm, and you need a 205mm rotor. (Numbers may be 180mm and 200mm on the new monos... I can't remember exactly)

Hmm.

Do you have the #8 caliper? If I remember right, with the old M4s, you need a #3 caliper to fit a manitou.

Try Hope customer service (contact info on website www.hopetech.com). They're excellent, though with the holidays they might be hard to reach right now.

I'm running the same setup.
You need the number 3 M4 caliper, adapter from Hope (forgot the number but if you call and mention Dorado, they know), 205mm rotor (M4s run 205, not 200) and you need to use the 74mm post style mount adapter on the dorado (which I think is the Hayes 8" adapter. Mine's been that way for almost 2+ years now without any issues (maybe I shld change the brake fluid, eh?)
