I'm not ready either. Last nights ride was an eye-opener. I had to switch gloves mid-ride. My toes were definitely cold at the end, but then again I was riding on pavement last night, so I was going double the speed that I normally do on single track. Tonight I will try my luck with some knee high rasta motocross socksJetwash?
I am not ready for this cold, yet. I'll be riding through the winter in shorts and in shorts/tights when temps drop below 20s, but I am not adjusted just yet.
Some of these things will happen naturally. I don't see that last bit about always finding the smoothest air being adopted readily, though. A million wavy lines would make air traffic controllers freak out, I imagine.
Funny - in my world I like the customers and the co-workers. It's the management that pi$$es me off.I am good with customers. I generally like my customers. Currently, it is my co-workers that piss me off.
That has always been the case for me. This is just a special little place. Customers are generally pain in the ass, but that is their job.Funny - in my world I like the customers and the co-workers. It's the management that pi$$es me off.
Most is probably placebo. Very little is probably true effect.I rode in this morning. First time since my unpleasant ride in the freezing monsoon last Monday. I feel about a gear slower/less powerful with flats. Part of that is probably placebo, part my heavier normal shoes vs my Sidis, and part true effect.
Strava bro, Strava. The problem is that all I can do is perceive how fast I am on a given day. Placebo is just as real as anything measurable given that my perception is my only tool.
might i suggest being a route driver for your favorite adult beverage company.I am good with customers. I generally like my customers. Currently, it is my co-workers that piss me off.
Strava bro, Strava.
Heh. I guess that'd solve it, plus would be cheaper than a power-measuring bottom bracket setup...toshi isn't that geeky.
you should get both and that way you could independently confirm the results.Heh. I guess that'd solve it, plus would be cheaper than a power-measuring bottom bracket setup...
One of our hyper-competitive friends was ranting a blue streak because she and her friend were running Strava on a ride in Moab, she beat the friend down, but Strava reported the friend the fastest.Strava bro, Strava.
BLACK muther@#$&er !what color winter riding gloves should i get. black or green. green is my favorite color, but black will match anything.
the sites of them were white. went with green.BLACK muther@#$&er !
It's the only acceptable bike stuff color.
I love riding flats to work so I can wear whatever shoes I want but as we have talked about I also have a lot of stop and go in NYC traffic. If I did not I would top to spd I think.I rode in this morning. First time since my unpleasant ride in the freezing monsoon last Monday. I feel about a gear slower/less powerful with flats. contact them and see if they'll repair it.Patagonia Das Parka which is falling apart
i've parked in that exact spot many a time . . .
This. Patagonia has a lifetime "warranty" and they should be happy to repair/replace it.contact them and see if they'll repair it.
They have already fixed it once for free and wearing through in that spot again. The jacket is from 2009.contact them and see if they'll repair it.
2009?? Barely broken in, that jacket...They have already fixed it once for free and wearing through in that spot again. The jacket is from 2009.
Sounds like a defect. They should give you a new jacket. He he some truth to that. Its because I tighten it around the waste and when the fabric starts bending it will wear through. They put new material over this spot once but it's worn out again.
