Week or so late anniversary dinner via takeout from Cholon. Wagyu two ways, soup dumplings, pork belly buns, bourbon. Excellent.

If you do it right the non breaded skin gets just as crispy as any breading would. When it comes to things that crunch, an animals skin beats some lame ass flour 8 days a week.

Any wing is better than no wing, but if there are two wings, one breaded, one crispy skinned, I know which one I’m eating first.
If my choices were breaded wings or no wings I'd choose no wings.

Yeah I gotta be honest, I didn’t love the Panko. Some bits were nice but it gets too soggy. 3/10 wouldn’t bother again.

I am no expert but I do love fried chicken which isn't the same as wings. The skin to meat ratio on wings is much higher than traditional fried chicken. It is the skin that makes it special. The meatier cuts of chicken need breading to bring the flavor and texture. Wings don't need it so highlight what wings do best, and that is the flavor and texture that God gave to all that chicken skin.
