This week has made me wonder... is this feeling I have about you how people felt about me when I was #funemployed?Present
DUMPING here again
What are you doing tomorrow? Might be a sneaky few inches of fresh at Loveland...I need to get on this "FIF" program. I've heard good things.
A solid road of white gold.Fun bike ride last night. Not quite the conditions we were hoping for, with a few inches of fresh powder. We poached some xc ski trails to link up some single track. The ski trail has lots of fresh powder on it, so the downs were a little sketch on the turns. Only hit 40kmh on the one hill before the buttpucker factor got a little too high on that powder; a little shy of last winters 60kmh boot.
Our buddy Terry the pinball is in central America this week, so we gave him a nice tribute out on the trail.
And now for that fun thing called work.
Since no one else has said it yet, it will. Get the red one!I've also been looking to buy an mid level new bike. Not quite sure where to start, 29'er, 27.5'er, hardtail.... etc...
I prefer to think of my self as ‘Freetired’.This week has made me wonder... is this feeling I have about you how people felt about me when I was #funemployed?
...
That might cause you to get reported to HR. Do you want to get reported to HR?I want to punch work right in the fucking face.
They are part of the problem. I'd have quit by now but doing so would put way too strain and pressure on a few other people and I don't want to do that to them, so I need to get done with this project first. That might cause you to get reported to HR. Do you want to get reported to HR?
no, just no. you look out for #1.They are part of the problem. I'd have quit by now but doing so would put way too strain and pressure on a few other people and I don't want to do that to them, so I need to get done with this project first.
that is an approved quantity of doggosLooking outside, mountain tops shrouded in clouds, weather app says it's snowing in Tahoe (not the 4-8 feet originally forecasted), and I still have the assembly line of dog feeding to do. Nothing like seeing 5 wagging tails ready for breakfast!!!
Oh, and that work thing, since I'm not independently wealthy yet.......
Not really, I have NO idea where to even start. I like my full suspension Ironhorse MKIII but it's heavy as fawk and I want something with bigger wheels. The main trails I ride don't require a Trail bike.....'sup . any new bikes have your attention already?

check out guerilla gravity. US made carbon, great prices. you might wanna start with the trail pistol, 120mm travel 29'er. what's also great is if you decide you want another of their models, all you need is a new seat/chainstay kit (and possibly shock) which they *will* sell you.Not really, I have NO idea where to even start. i thought i was when i had my disc herniations. learn to stretch your hip flexors and piriformis muscle.Anyone every get sciatica? Cause I think I have it. Getting old sucks.
these bikes are the new hot shit in carbon. plenty of info out there on it, but tl;dr they have a sledgehammer test and no other carbon frames could withstand it, but their stuff did, along with aluminum bikes.I'm a bigger rider, should I be buying carbon?
my wallet irritates mine but not very severe. i usually just take it out if I am sitting lots.

But, I'm not at work and my coffee is rad, so I've got that going on.
Interesting, thanks! Their website makes shopping easy.these bikes are the new hot shit in carbon. plenty of info out there on it, but tl;dr they have a sledgehammer test and no other carbon frames could withstand it, but their stuff did, along with aluminum bikes.
edit: they are claiming 300% better impact strength than other carbon bikes on the market, fwiw.
also they post regularly in the DH forum if you have specific questions. i have a first gen mega trail and love it. my next bike is gonna be a trail pistol.Interesting, thanks! Their website makes shopping easy.

Is there a David Koresh museum there?Mornin!
Arrived in Texas last night and already had to smash mosquitoes. It’s still winter! What kind of cruel joke is that?!?
Gonna visit the Blue Bell ice cream factory today on the way up to Waco. Maybe I can score some Texas BBQ since the stuff I had in SC and GA was downright disappointing.
