why haven't more people been murdered in the streets for sending it? it accounts for the majority of mail, it pisses everyone off, and is becoming economically burdensome for almost every web-based company.

combating it by our gov't is about as effective as the wars on poverty, drugs, or terror.

You aren't flattered by the apparent number of people concerned with the size of your manhood?

I recall reading a study that 13% of the people in the U.K. click on links received via spam emails.

So that's why they do it. They have a 13% success rate. Kill the morons clicking the links, and we stop the spam.
