Just for fun... in 1985 or so my dad gave me a late 70s AMC Gremlin with a 220 in line 6. There was NOTHING special about the car - factory 2 barrel and everything stock. Still - it could hold its own with the early 70s Z28s & Firebirds everyone had.

Too bad I don't have any pics left, but when I was in High School (way back when) I drove a 1969 Olds 442. To this day I kick myself for getting rid of it.
Yep, I had the old Cragar SS mags on it too. #'s didn't matched but it did have a nicely modified 455A Gem... the OLD 442 was an AWESOME CAR....

My dad has a 1965 Plymouth Satellite with a 78 roadrunner 383 and a 4 barrel carb I will restore once I get money...... (I know the picture is a belvedere, same body small differences.)

Why that thing, that's like deciding to restore a Yugo.
I think it has classy lines, and is a neat looking car. Hate all you want, but once it is done you know you will want to take it for a spin.
i'm a mustang fan so be happy with a '65 convertable.
I always wanted a 69 Z28 Camaro but I'd probably settle for this...
With a solid small block engine under the hood.
My first car was a '72 Grand Prix. When I got back from Desert Storm, I bought a '70 Cuda, I miss that car.
I wouldn't mind a '72 Trans Am, though. 455 3 speed,

I know here, at least in California, you don't want a muscle car after 1970. The smog laws were starting and the horse power robbers were on thier way. The muscle car I would love to have, would be a 1967 427 Corvette.

1967 camaro
1970 with twin scoop hood and pistol grip shifter. It was a sad day when I left it behind in San Diego to never see again. Oh well, trucks are funner anyway.
oh thats right, i remember you said once before...i love me the pistol grip, but im still a huge fan of the 727. my truck has the newer version, 46RE, in it and i love it.
1970 was the second best year for the 'Cuda IMO....the '71 was just too bad ass to say otherwise.

I love the AAR Cuda. Color, side out exhaust, 6 pack, perfect.
yeah the strobe stripes are my favorite.
i think if it had the '71 nose/grill, it would be my all-time favorite
