Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of a shop that annodizes aluminum in San Diego? If so, any idea how much a frame may cost to get annodized?

I don't know anyone locally so I'm sending my frame off to Absolute Finish. Bullcrew worked out a nice deal for us Monkeys. Frames are 100 bucks.

I should have it back in a few weeks so I'll post the results.

You may want to check with spookydave. I'm sure he can point you in the right direction if you don't want to ship.

$100 seems like a great price. Does that include chemically stripping the powder coat off your frame? Post pics if you can when you get it back.

I have a ball-burnished frame so there's no stripping needed. They're going to re-polish then black anodize it. I'm not sure what the 100 bucks covers. You should give them a call for exact details.
