Here we go again! As if Maryland wasn't told in the last election of how many large corporations have moved out of state due to high taxes to go to Virginia, our dumbass Governor has forced another business to leave Maryland! Thanks to Governor O'Malley, another business pulls out of Baltimore!
Even with the majority of liberal sided local TV and print showing under former Republican Governor Ehrlich the state prospered creating jobs and brought in large corporations as well as lowering Maryland's deficit to next to nothing, the same local media turned on Democratic Governor Martin O'Malley showing he has drove out more corporations and jobs, and in just two years created the highest deficit ever in Maryland's history! Mind you, Maryland is a huge democratic state, voted for O'Malley, even with liberal democratic minded local media endorsing the Republican Ehrlich!!
Even knowing Governor O'Malley has raised taxes so high in Maryland, no one want's to do business here anymore, Maryland still voted him back into office in spite of the proof, once again showing people voted across party lines. And less than two months later after his re-election, another big corporation pulls out today siting on the news tonight the high cost of taxes to do business in Baltimore. Here we go again folks! This state is going in the toilet!
Joining Solo Cup, Lockheed Martin, and many more, now the Pepsi plant so many see going down I-83 into the city, announced to it's employees today it would be their last day at work and will no longer make Pepsi in Baltimore anymore. More jobs lost to an idiot in power. When will Marylander's get it? I'm so frustrated.
This divide between republicans and democrats voting for the sake of the party lines is killing our own economy and hurting Maryland. It's really got to stop! I'm so frustrated over it. Another huge corporations pulls out of baltimore siting too high taxes to do business here. This is SUCH a shame. What a way to start the new year for so many people, out of work!
And to make matters worse, an article in The Wall Street Journal last year prior to O'Malley winning a second term states that out of 3,000 millionaires in Maryland, over 1,000 disappeared from Maryland last year alone!! Link below if you want to read it. From the article: All of this means that the burden of paying for bloated government in Annapolis will fall on the middle class. Thanks to the futility of soaking the rich, these working families will now pay Mr. O'Malley's "fair share."
Add the Baltimore Pepsi plant workers to the unemployment line tonight. Such a shame.
