yeah im pretty sure 04 is the is the duff year.

Basically if they have a groove on the outside of the sidewall, avoid.

yeah that year cost me lots of $$ in rims and wheel builds

I haven't tried any of the new DH UST offerings from Mavic since.

I saw those online, too. I called them about it and the rims have the groove in the outer sidewall edge which I believe is the older version.

the 04-05 is the grove in the side wall. those are the ones that people were going thru a lot.

the 06 is a little wider and no grove. the 07 version supposely changed a little aswell. i have one here, mostly the graphics look a little nicer, but couldn't tell you the difference
