yes
I'm using it with 9 speed cassette and trigger
and 10 speed zee deriler with a clatch. (with 6mm adapter to make it work 9 speed)

works fine.
but for racing I put on a chain guide.

9 and 10 speed chains have the same internal widths(I think),so will work as well with either.

A friend has been using a RF N/W with a KMC Z99 chain, SRAM X7 der and SRAM PG-970DH cassette for a month now without any issues. He took off the jockey wheel off the chainguide and left just the upper cage. So far, he's been pretty happy with it.

I've been running a 30t raceface narrow/wide on a Shimano 9spd drivetrain for several months with no chainguide and a conventional derailer. I ride pretty aggressively and have dropped the chain only 2 times in that period, both following a substantial jolt, so I'd say it's doing its job quite well.
