I spent 9 months there in '82-83, and haven't been back since. Oklahoma is so bad, even Amtrak won't go there. That should tell you something.

I've driven 40 in OK. Think dry, dusty, and desolate. Pretty straight road and I think the speed limit was 75.

last I heard, pretty much all major highways were shut down...but that was yesterday morning, I don't know if they've gotten them cleared off or not

Sadly, yes.

I think the roads are opened back up, though last I heard they were still discouraging travel. You should be OK since you have some offroad car handling skillz & some common sense.
