Sorry for the late notice but the Whistler trip that I have planed is coming up fast, we leave Thursday afternoon and we still have room for some riders if anybody is interested we are intermediate riders if that matters and this will be our first trip to Whistler. I ride out of Capitol Forest in Olympia and I booked a condo hoping that I would not have any trouble finding locals that would want to hit Whistler but so far it is only myself and one other guy who are going for sure. There is a third guy that pretty much canceled on us today, he might go but it didn't sound too promising. That being said I would love to find at least two others to who would like to go and help with gas and the condo rental. We have room for 2 more bikes. We will be heading north on I5 from Olympia so we could pick people up on the way as long as it is not too far from the freeway or you could meet us at a park and ride. Below is copy and pasted from an email I sent out to our local riding group which contains all of the details:

I booked a condo in Whistler for the nights of Thursday July 3, Friday
July 4 and Saturday July 5.

The condo has 4 beds and sleeps 7
and has a deck with BBQ, pool and hot tub and is walking distance to
the village and lifts. It also has a large living room so if it turns
out we have more than 4 people who want to go and we need more than 4
beds there is plenty of space in the living room for an air mattress
or two. So far it is Noah, myself:lighten:
but my minivan seats 7, (6 super comfortably) so there is plenty of
room for any others that want to
go. The van also has a DVD player. I would like to leave town around
3pm Thursday July 3, although I
am flexible depending on others work schedule. We could ride in the
park Friday and Saturday. Sunday we could either ride in the park or
do an XC ride outside the park. Not sure what time we would leave to
head home on Sunday, the traffic and border crossing may be busy on
Sunday due to the holiday weekend so instead of sitting in traffic we
may want to ride all day Sunday and just plan on getting back very
late Sunday. The departure times to and from Whistler are definitely
not set in stone so we can try to come up with times that work for
everyone.

The condo would cost each of us about $85 CDN total for 3 nights if
there are 4 of us, cheaper if more come.

Please let me know if you are interested in coming.

Thanks!

Chris
