Anyone in Morzine Les Gets area in July?

Here is a pic from digging today. It was raining most of the day so I didn't get much done.
And I'm strugglin to even get there for a week - fml.

Passportes du Soleil this weekend will see 6000 entrants.
I'm an official photog for it this year.
Tomorrow I'll be parked somewhere under the Chaux Fleurie lift.
Saturday I'll be on the Mossettes side (prob near Lac Vert).
Sunday, no idea as yet. I'd like Champoussin, but I need to be able to roll home with gear after lifts close...

I just arrived in Les Gets today and will be riding tomorrow. Anyone over here that wants to ride? I'll keep checking back here. Can you ride from Les Gets to Champery or do you have to drive over there to visit that park? Saw some amazing places in Switzerland on the drive over but now I am ready to ride. If your in the lines look for a black Canfield Jedi or a tan'ish Corsair Maelstrom and say hi. Will check back in tomorrow before and after riding.
Theres a brit guy half way down the Chevannes lift en route to canyon run iirc
Remember to check at what time the last bus leaves from Chatel to the lifts (that's from Morgins). You don't want to be left with no transport 3 valleys from Les Gets.Cool, i thought i heard you can but it is a long way away on the map. Anyone know a good spot to get a brake bled (speaks English and cheap) in Les Gets? I couldn't bring all my tools and that just happens to be needed
I thought we were going to do a big rebuild but 3 days after I started they needed the excavator for some ski run work. I guess I will rebuild it after the Chatel Mountain Style. We did get a couple corners done while we had the digger.
All the accessories and lots of padding. During the Passeportes there is a bit of everything.

Just got off the lifts from my first day riding here. Trails were a lot of fun but there are a ton of braking bumps. There were fewer off the second lift in Les Gets so i spent a lot of time up there. Met some cool Brits and found lots of people that speak english 
Might try to head over to Morzine tomorrow, heard the trails are steeper over there If anyone wants to ride, check in here and I'll look for you.

Yup. I discovered it quite late but that run was fun.
was quite muddy at that time, not that much fun. but looks nice on the videos

Rode over to Morzine today. Some geat runs right off the lift, steep and fast. It was crazy muddy today and slippery fun. I think I know the left turn you guys mentioned and I'll give it a go tomorrow. A lot fewer people here today so if you see someone on a black with gold Canfield Jedi say hi. Not sure if I am going to try riding over to Champery, maybe if the weather clears up. Felt lost enough getting to Morzine
If the weather is okay you should at least go to Chatel. Nice trails there.
Wanted to really see it as the track looks ever more insane than last year. You are still building that track? I love the new stepdown.
Air voltage ftw 
Awesome. To be honest I think a drop like that would haunt me for a long time. I've done same height or same length (or even longer) but that's a big gap. Props to you. Last year for some reason I didn't ride air voltage at all.
I didn't even find it. Where is it again? In Chatel?
Yeah, Pre La Joux bike park. Head along to the very end of the fire road that all the trails drop off, then there's a big archway with Air Voltage written on it

@Norbar- Seb Giraldi and his crew are building the course and I am head judge. I have too many trails to look after on the Swiss side to get too involved in the shaping in Chatel. Seb guinea pigged the new start drop the other day and over shot a bit. I will get a video of it up later. He went huge!
@jmartin - Come check out the Chatel Mountain Style this weekend. Should be some crazy riding going on!

Thinking of coming to Morgins tomorrow morning (5th July). Are the tracks OK after all that rain we've just had?

The tracks are running great. There are almost no brake bumps and the rain didn't hurt anything. It is running about as good as it gets. We built some new lines and new jumps. I think you will be happy with the changes.

I leave on Sat unfortunately so I doubt I can make the contest got a late start today and have to get a stuck brake fixed so don't think I will be able to make it over there today but thanks for the invite.
