3 is a few, but when it comes to a bike, which most normal people only have one, I think 3 looses its "few" status. unless you are on RM.

Is 3 the grand total in your mt biking "career"? If so, yep - that's not many. Of course, I guess it depends on how long you've been riding.......

I've never owned more than one bike at any given time.

Oh yeah I forgot - I snapped the head tube off my Huffy repeatedly jumping off curbs (to flat) when I was around 9. That was maybe 1980 or 1981. I was gnar core.

In a Van(couver) down by the river
Going off what I've read so far, I might hold some kind of record:
(Not including BMX bikes)

1.) 1988 Novara Ponderosa - rigid baby! REI house brand, made by Marin I think. Bought it new in 1989. Ridden consistently since then (with a 3 year hiatus from 1998-2001)

Thats it. That all. Still beat the snot out of it every chance I get.
I have gone through 3 frames (all warrantied) and countless cranksets, a few sets of wheels...

BUT
COMING SOON
#2 '05 Banshee Chaparall (Now I'll be able to REALLY beat the snot out of the bike without doing myself in)
