anyone running 165mm cranks on their trail bike?

When donating the 6POINT frame I'd maintained to a cool shop prior to leaving Florida, it included the LG1r crankset and it was 165mm. Was more of am efficiency decision rather than obstacle avoidance decision. That bike happened to become snappier under the pedals while spinning a smaller diameter, when changing direction and having to anticipate making corrections. Pretty sure 165mm was the cranklength since finding that unused frame in 2012.

I just checked my crank lengths. I'm a bit surprised.

Bike 1 - 170mm
Bike 2 - 165mm
Bike 3 - 160mm

I really never noticed a difference between them. Could be cuz 2 out of the 3 are ebikes :D

TBF most Ebikers simply haven't got time to look where they're going so need all the extra clearance they can get.
