When donating the 6POINT frame I'd maintained to a cool shop prior to leaving Florida, it included the LG1r crankset and it was 165mm. Was more of am efficiency decision rather than obstacle avoidance decision. That bike happened to become snappier under the pedals while spinning a smaller diameter, when changing direction and having to anticipate making corrections. Pretty sure 165mm was the cranklength since finding that unused frame in 2012.

I finally out of curiosity went out and measured my SRAM GXPs, which happen to be 170mm, so to the original question, no.

I just checked my crank lengths. I'm a bit surprised.

Bike 1 - 170mm
Bike 2 - 165mm
Bike 3 - 160mm

I really never noticed a difference between them. Could be cuz 2 out of the 3 are ebikes
