if so, can you take a mugshot for me? i need some new non-riding glasses, and can't get a feel for how big they are.

You betcha. Will take self portrait now.

PS - I love them, only they are pretty loudy when it comes to staying on the face if you are running, looking down etc. Also, I have a pinhead so that may make a difference.

I had a pair - worst Oakley sunglasses I've owned. they just didn't stay on my face (e.g. kept sliding down my nose). So I sold them…

Monsterdogs is where it's at!!

anyone have experience with Bolle glasses? what's the clarity like? Transcend's not allowed to answer.
I real good friend of mine loves Bolle stuff and has a couple pair of glasses, i can say that the clairty is incredible, esp the blueish hue glasses that he has. I am not so in to the styling though, too euro rodie for me.

they have a 'casual'/ 'younger' line that geared towards a younger audience - http://www.dirty8eyewear.com/

despite hating the name, i dig the Glamrocks. look similar to Gascans, but have a narrow earstem. but i have 0 experience with them.
They're a lot smaller than the Gascans though. I got a pair, and I really like them, but I would have liked them to be a little bigger. I do have a somewhat big head though. I really like my Gascans, I have the polarized ones, and they rule.
The Monster Dogs are pretty sweet too, but I needed something new. Everyone has the Gascans these days though, but they're my favorite glasses to date.

I've got a pair of Monster Dogs and gascans...love them both. I've had the MD's for like 3 years, and they are still running strong. The Gascans fit well on my face, and they look kickass!

I can't believe how ugly sunglasses are getting................

what's even better is when petite girls that are no taller than like 5'4" wear them. the glasses cover their entire face.

anywho, ran to the mall, found both, tried them on, and prefer the Gascans. they fit my big head better.

You gotta take a picture. We're dying to see how dumb they look! ;)
roger that.

looks like Oakley stopped making the polarized version. nevermind, i see them now.

now the biggie...is polarized worth 2x the cost of non-polarized?

Ya they slide a bit, not bad when walking around or driving or whatever, but they suck i fyou decide to run or look down. I am gonna stick some rubber antislip thing on the nosepiece to see if that helps.

It's not like I paid for them, or like they are my only sunglasses, so it doesn't really bother me. So far they are my favorites tho!

i'm not too worried about them sliding down or anything. grip issues are solved with my HJs. i wish the white frame came with the amber lens. or the amber polarized lens was in the matte black frame.

black iridium is too dark, from what i remember. i like gold iridium for everything except cloudy conditions. the black amber polarized and bronze polarized look perfect.

I have black iridium on 3 pairs of sunglasses and fire on 2 others. I REALLY like the black iridium. It isn't too dark at all, allows for 10% light transmission I think. Basically just lowers the light level, without making it dark.

I had trouble finding them initially, but then when I *did* find them I couldn't believe has stupid they looked. :D
First of all - your sentence doesn't make sense. Secondly - you wear glacier glasses. Get your ass out of this thread. I forbid you to ever comment on eyewear fashion.:nonono:

Come on - you have to admit that those glasses look at *least* as dumb as glacier glasses............ :p

And my sentence made perfect sense. Just because your reading comprehension is on par with that of a preschooler....

Hrm - makes perfect sense.

I don't dispute that they don't look dumber, but by wearing glacier glasses, you lose voting rights.

I'll fix that. :D

I still get to vote, though. I didn't have glacier glasses for fashion reasons.

i liked black until i got ice. i loved ice...thought that was the best lens ever made. then i got some Racing Jackets with gold...now i love gold. gold went along with me during TX4000 and seemed to be perfect for all conditions, except the absolute brightest of days in the Nevada desert heading directly into the setting sun.

hm...then again, that was outside on the road, which is what my HJs, with interchageable lenses, are now for...hmmm....
