I went apple picking with the fam this weekend for the first time since I was 4 years old. The place we hit (Hick's Orchard in Granville, NY) was a bit pricey, but it was worth it to see the smile on my daughters face as she climbed tree after tree to get "the really red ones up top"! Came home with a 1/2 bushel of tasty Empires.
