Wow my dad had a thing like for his 1980 or so honda 110 3-wheeler. I didn't think anyone would ever come out with anything like that again.

I actually know a ton of people that use gauntlets for snowmobiling and they say they are the best thing going. I wish I had some when I was on long rides- they look dumb, but when you're out in the cold its definetly function over fashion... that being said I think its a pretty dumb idea for biking.

I have something similar for my motorcycle and a real heavy insulated pair for the fourwheeler. They work awesome for those applications. For a bike though its kinda silly...

This is more for the commuter than anything. My roommate has something similar and she rides to work almost year round.
