Are there mountains on that continent?Rocky, dry, hot, little bit dusty, rocky, and as track is wearing - more rocks appear! Track is short - elite will go sub 2 min - but track all gold from top to bottom.
No.Sam Hill is to good to do the nats in his own country?
Maybe it's more a reason not to do the Nats because if and when he wins, he has to wear a silly AUS champ jersey all year, and considering AUS pays him nothing and AUS doesn't even support a MTB program anymore its more a hinderance to win the AUS nats...(any nats for that matter)Sam Hill is to good to do the nats in his own country?
Anyone doeshe has to wear the jersey if he wins? its better than not wearing a World Champ jersey i guess
interesting looking course. it kinda looks like a backyard race
The rule is still there, sort of. Guys are getting away with wearing their regular team jersey and an arm band with their national colors on one or both sleeves. I think there should be some recognition of each national champion and this seems like a fair enough compromise. National pride without shafting the sponsors.Anyone does
The UCI really enforces the rule that requires all National Champions to wear their National Champion jersey at every UCI ranked event the following season. Even the rainbow jersey is a 'bit' of a marketing failure, but the pride and mileage you get otherwise makes up for not having proper logo-age throughout the season. Correct me if I am wrong, but this rule from 4-5 years ago has kept many riders from racing their national championships (current experts correct me if I am wrong).
Dunno that it matters much. Having all those mountains doesn't seem to help the US that much. Are there mountains on that continent?
Or us Canadians !Dunno that it matters much. Having all those mountains doesn't seem to help the US that much.
Awesome. Nice work by CKIn a tightly fought race for the downhill title at the SRAM Australian Mountain Bike Championships in Adelaide today, Chris Kovarik won his fourth national title while world number one, and pre-race favourite, Sam Hill crashed on the final corner just metres from the finish line.
Hill had set the fastest time in the qualifying round to be the last rider out of the start house and looked set to claim the title until it all came undone in sight of the line. Unscathed from the fall he got back up and crossed the line to finish fifth.

Did Claire get the Australien citizenship by becoming Mrs Kovarik? Can she still compete at the Canadian champs?Husband and wife champs!
Her lic # still starts with "CAN". It seems riders from other nations can compete at the Aussie Nat Champs. I see Brad Oien in there with a good finish as well.Did Claire get the Australien citizenship by becoming Mrs Kovarik? Can she still compete at the Canadian champs?
