Hey,

I've searched the entire forum and can't find a post over the issue I have.

One of the pistons in my Avid Elixir is jammed. Not only does it not move when pressing the lever, but it's also all the way in, so I cant really push it back to release it from stiction.

Any ideas?

Bring it to your LBS. If they can't do anything they will warranty it for you.

You can hold in the other piston with a flathead screwdriver, then squeeze the lever.

But you will probably have to warranty it.

you can also use compressed air if you have it. their owner's manual shows you how to take it out.
