ive been listening to alot of MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE lately, also some of THE FAINT, and some BLEEDING THROUGH
what is that like? squirrel bait was a goddamn tour de force, but i recall the post-SB, Searcy-led outfit of Big Wheel sucking large dingdong.DNA said:Peter Searcy - Trust Falls
My old boss is the drummer for Spoon. He gave me a CD a long time ago ("A Series of Sneaks"). I wasn't impressed at the time. A couple years later I listened to "Girls Can Tell". Now, they are in my regular line-up...one of my favorite bands (and I don't even work for the guy anymore).Trainwreck said:In no particular order,

Now them's fightin' words! I really liked Big Wheel. They were way different than Squirrel Bait, but really good once you got past comparing it to SB. If you weren't a fan of BW, then you probably wouldn't like his new solo stuff either, but then again you might. Searcy was switching labels or something, so he released the new album on iTunes before it was available on CD. You can check some of it out there.narlus said:what is that like? squirrel bait was a goddamn tour de force, but i recall the post-SB, Searcy-led outfit of Big Wheel sucking large dingdong.

no problem, it's a helluva download though. I've got 9 days left on the second packagenarlus said:tigg, thanks for that SXSW link
get a bigger pipe...my downloads finished in about 4 hrs, and i stopped seeding so i could use my upload bandwidth for other things.kinghami3 said:no problem, it's a helluva download though. I've got 9 days left on the second package
yeah, I'm on my university's network, plenty fast. I think I'll just restart the download; this is ridiculous. Bit-torrent is great, but it's inconsistent as hell, the first pack downloaded in about 6 hours. I think I'm uploading faster than I'm downloading.narlus said:get a bigger pipe...my downloads finished in about 4 hrs, and i stopped seeding so i could use my upload bandwidth for other things.
I hope you caught them over the spring when they toured with Nebula.Jim Mac said:The Hellacopters- Rock and Roll is Dead, Cream of the Crap Vol's I & II

I really like that everyone with the screamo tastes also digs the underground hip-hop. I dont understand how that happened at all.mobius said:Murs & 9th Wonder
